Biography of Favorite Madonna

Madonna performed the song at the first MTV Video Music Awards where she appeared on stage atop a giant wedding cake, wearing a wedding dress and bridal veil, adorned with her characteristic "Boy Toy" belt buckle.
Madonna moved to New York City in 1977 to pursue a career in modern dance. After performing in the music groups Breakfast Club and Emmy, she released her debut album in 1983.

She studied the screwball comedies of the 1930s, particularly those of Lombard, in preparation for the film Who's That Girl.
Madonna, born Louis Cicconi, in 1958, was brought up in Rochester Hills Michigan.
She released her eighth studio album, Music, in September 2000. Madonna released her eleventh studio album, Hard Candy, in April 2008, containing R&B and urban pop influences.

It featured elements from the electronica-inspired Ray of Light era, and catered to her gay audience. Collaborating with French producer Mirwais Ahmadzaï, Madonna commented: "I love to work with the weirdos that no one knows about—the people who have raw talent and who are making music unlike anyone else out there.
